The work in short
A practice that holds together two things usually kept apart: the Russian folk figurative tradition — Mezen, Dymkovo, Filimonovo — and the rigour of a training as architect at the Moscow Architectural Institute. The result is a language close to neo-primitivism, where the line builds and colour is flat, intense, never merely descriptive.
Since the move to Genoa in 2022 that cultural memory has been in dialogue with the contemporary European context: this is the centre of the work. The works fall into four directions — Toy Tale, Inner Autonomy, Experiments and Interior — from canvas to textured pieces made for lived-in space.

Collaborations
- Solo and group exhibitions, in galleries and public spaces.
- Curatorial projects built around a theme, where the dialogue between tradition and the contemporary has something to say.
- Work with architecture and interior design studios: the Interior series is made to live inside a space, not in front of a wall.
- Commissioned works on canvas and MDF panel, agreed on the project.
